EVENT ORGANIZING

Event organization is the process of performing the work for an event to take place, from the time it begins to form in the idea until it ends. Currently, event organization is often aimed at conveying messages to customers or the public, such as promotion, product introduction, festivals, etc.

Activities that are often involved and required to organize an event include:

The purpose of the event is essentially to attract the attention of the media and the target audience. Event organization plays an important role in marketing activities, second to market research and advertising. There are 3 stages in the event organization

Before the event

Before starting the event, the event organizer needs to collect the following information and requirements of the customer:

  • Expectations, goals of the unit that wants to organize the event
  • Essential factors that can impact the success of the event
  • Plan specific ideas
  • Transportation, construction and installation of items and equipment for the event
  • Implement media promotion campaigns for the event
  • Plan contingency plans for incidents

In the event

This phase includes tasks such as:

  • Install the necessary sound, lighting and decoration systems
  • Check the final items, review the program
  • Welcoming guests to open the event
  • Manage and track the progress as well as coordinate the event to happen according to the scenario

After the event

  • Promoting communication to promote the brand in the event
  • Create a good relationship with suppliers, support services during the event
  • Take care of customers to bring the best service.
